Titanic Hotel Liverpool – Wedding Photographer
Being a Liverpool Wedding Photographer gives us the chance not only to meet and work with great people but also to work at some of Liverpool’s best wedding venues. And there are a huge variety of venues in Liverpool.
A few months ago we had the honour of shooting the wedding of Hayley & Greg at the Titanic Hotel in Liverpool. A converted rum warehouse, it is a huge impressive luxury hotel. It the perfect place in which to get married. It is also a great place to just stay or eat.
The ceremony room is full of natural light with huge windows, perfect for lovely well lit images. It has a majestic staircase that is reminiscent of a main stair case on a cruise liner, perhaps the Titanic itself. Drinks and canopies were also served there. At the top of the stairs a string trio played lovely music throughout. The hotel is the perfect backdrop for an elegant wedding.
Unfortunately the weather was not great but we managed to get images inside and outside the hotel. The Stanley Dock complex providing an urban chic feel to some of the images we shot.
Since the wedding Marie and I have been back to the hotel for ‘afternoon tea’. This is becoming a regular thing with us now. If a venue impresses us we go back for tea or a meal. And honestly I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough.
On the wedding day the staff were brilliant. Friendly and very approachable. Nothing was too much trouble.
Throughout the hotel there is a lot of Titanic memorabilia, posters, models and the like. All very interesting.
