Statham Lodge Cheshire Wedding Photography

Statham Lodge Hotel near Lymm is a hidden gem amongst wedding venues in Cheshire. Marie & John at Sophie Andersson, (Liverpool Wedding Photographer) we shoot weddings throughout Liverpool, Manchester, Lancashire and Cumbria but unfortunately we had not been to Statham Lodge Hotel.

On a beautiful sunny day we had the great pleasure of shooting the wedding of Emma & Dave. A lovely couple who made our job easy as they were so relaxed and easy to photograph. Following the service at St Peters Church Newton, our bride & groom, together with family and guests continued on to the hotel to celebrate the wedding.

There are a number of factors why we would recommend any couple looking for a great wedding venue. First the hotel and grounds are amongst the best we have been to to shoot a wedding. From the stunning gardens through to the fence whereby couples have started a tradition of locking an engraved padlock with their names & memorable date onto it (who needs Paris!).

Just as important, the staff at Statham Lodge. Professional, friendly and with an eye for detail. They were brilliant. I know that for us as photographers everything went smoothly and this can only be achieved with the help and support of the hotel staff. With special thanks to Andy – the coordinator. It was the same for Emma & Dave too. Their special day was made perfect.

Since then we have been back for ‘Afternoon Tea”. Again well worth a visit. We wish Emma & Dave all the very best together in their married life.
