Sefton Park Hotel Liverpool Wedding Photography
The wedding day of Emma & Kenneth at the Sefton Park Hotel Liverpool coincided with the running of The Grand National 2015. Nestled within the attractive Sefton Park it is a very popular hotel. Patrons popping in for a drink or meal, it is always busy. And of course dropping in to watch the ‘National’.
A sunny, windy and cold day, it was not ideal for a photo-shoot ( but it never is for me!!). We got the job done and enjoyed the day with Emma, Kenny and their families.
We didn’t really have the time to fully use Sefton Park, one of our favourite Parks for engagement shoots, with the Fairy Glen and waterfall. But wedding photography is all about compromise and playing the cards you have been dealt with on the day. Thus ensuring your clients not only get great photography but they enjoy their wedding day too. A fine line has to be walked.
Connor and his staff at the hotel were fantastic and had a lot to cope with because of the Grand National. This included getting the whole wedding party upstairs in between courses to watch the race then back down again to finish their meal. It all worked very well and to be honest the excitement of watching the race, particularly those who had placed bets, raised the energy levels once more.
Here are a some of our favourite images from the day.
