Two Warrington Town Hall Weddings

Like buses you wait an age for one to come along, then two come at the same time. This is what happened to us. Warrington Town Hall.  Unusually this is one of the venues that has eluded us for sometime, then one weekend after the other brought two completely different lighting challenges for us. First shooting in strong sunlight, next week shooting at night.

First the wedding of Karrina & John.  A lovely day with the ceremony taking place inside the beautiful building of the Town Hall.  This gave us the opportunity to get some great shots of Karrina & John in front of the famous “Golden Gates” which once adorned Buckingham Palace.

Karrina is a fantastic florist (lovemyflorist.co.uk/newton-le-willows/tottymaudes) and venue dresser, so she did all her own flowers, and dressed both the Town Hall and Alder Root Golf Club where they held their reception.  We had a great day with them.  Here are a few images from the day

Back again the following week for Gemma & Dave’s wedding. Their ceremony took place at St Pauls Of The Cross in Burtonwood, Warrington. What a lovely church, then off to the T0wn Hall for the reception held in a marquee at the rear of the Hall.

Another great day, however things were running a little late and we were losing light fast this left us with the serious challenge of getting those all important shots early evening without much light.  However, ever up for the challenge (and with backup equipment) we used wireless triggers to fire the flashes which were “off camera”

Here are some images.
