Lancashire Manor Wedding Photography
A couple of weeks ago saw Marie and I back at the lovely Lancashire Manor Hotel for the wedding of Emma & Rob. It was one of those days when we had to dodge the rain but hey ho this is England and you have to be prepared for any scenerio as a wedding photographer.
We had an early start at Emma’s mums along with all the excited family and bridesmaids. As soon as we had finished there we dashed to see Rob who was getting ready at his Nans house, literally a 2 minute walk away.
Transport for the day was a convertible retro VW Beetle car and VW Camper van. These provided a cool look and reflects the laid back and relaxed approach to life that Emma & Rob have.
Their ceremony took place at St Thomas the Martyr Church in Upholland, within walking distance of our home!. The church was found in 1319 and still has some original stained glass windows from that date. The link above provides further information about the church.
Following the ceremony, we went back into the church due to the rain, then a quick dash to Lancashire Manor Hotel for their reception. A great venue even if you can’t get out into the lovely gardens for a photo shoot.
We stayed until they had had their first dance as man and wife.
We had a really lovely day and would like to thank Emma, Rob and their families for making us feel very welcome at their wedding.
