The Mansion House St Helens Wedding Photography

August and September have been particularly busy months for us. In between shooting weddings we have also done a commercial photo shoot for a large company in Skelmersdale and a couple of engagement shoots.  So we have fallen behind with our blogs.

On the 10th of August we had a great time with  Karyn & Darren at the Mansion House St Helens along with their families & friends on a glorious sunny day.

The Mansion House can only be described a the little unknown jewel in St Helens.  It is set in Victoria Park in the centre of St Helens.  A beautiful 150 year old house and at this moment is undergoing serious renovation work.  When finished, it will be a fantastic venue.  That said it is already a lovely place to get married at or just simply to visit and enjoy the bistro!  The staff are very helpful too.

Karyn & Darren decided to hold their ceremony at the foot of the stairs inside the Mansion House – a little difficult to photograph – but we like a challenge. The blue tiled floor looks great, especially from above.

Here are some images from their day. Karyn Looked beautiful along with her sister Vicki and niece Renae.  Mum & Dad kept Karyn relaxed with a glass of bubbly before leaving for the ceremony. Karyn was really looking forward to seeing her husband to be and her 2 little boys Kale & Kian who enjoyed the day from the beginning to the end.

We really hope we get to go back to the Mansion House again one day, especially once the renovation work is complete.  In our opinion, it will be “the place” to get married in St Helens.
