2 Weddings & 3 Pre Shoots
It’s been really busy for John & I over the past couple of weeks and we have just about managed to catch up. We have done 2 weddings (and we managed to get a mention on national radio Smooth FM! for both of our couples) and 3 pre shoots so we have a couple of thousand images to process. We have decided to keep things short, hence no pre shoot images.
Wedding Number 1 – Took us to Christ Church Chatburn for the marriage of Caroline & Simon. Apparently it’s the first church to be built during the reign of Queen Victoria! – So it’s old. Following the ceremony we all stopped for tea & home made cakes which were lovely, and made by various family & friends (also some of the ladies of the parish). After a few shots outside the church, we headed off to Whalley Abbey which is a gret venue and fantastic for photos. The weather was perfect and everyone was in a great mood soaking up the sunshine.
After the formal family shots, we had a great time with the bridal party. We even had two of the grooms men doing handstands for us! I think you will agree, the Abbey has some great ruins which make a perfect backdrop to some beautiful images.
Caroline & Simon are now on honeymoon in Thialand. They really are a lovely couple and it’s very clear to see, they are very much in love.
Caroline looked absolutely beautiful, here she is with her very proud Mum & Dad.
The lovely bridesmaids – Carolines sisters Trisha, Michelle & Sara. Simons sister Louise
Flower Girls Isobell and Imogen taking a rest along with the page boys Alexander and Josh.
Wedding Number 2 took place at the Joshua Bradley Hotel in Manchester. Sonia and Ferry who live in Holland came over with family and friends to celebrate their marriage and were joined by Sonias family and more of their friends. It was interesting for us as things were done slightly different. Straight after the ceremony and the receiving line, the guests were served cake and a glass of bubbly to toast the health and happiness of the newly weds.
Our thanks to Ricardo – who looked after everyone at the hotel, including ourselves. The food is so nice and the staff are very helpful and pleasant, I would recommend it to anyone.
Sonia & Ferry were a fun couple to work with as well as their family and friends. Heres a few shots of the day.
Ferry with his brothers, not sure what they were laughing at but I bet they were winding him up. They were joking all day.
Bridesmaids – Sonias sister Vicky and best friend from Holland Michelle
Just a few of the lovely shots we got around the grounds of the Joshua Bradley.
