Grosvenor Pulford Hotel, Wedding Photography

Our first wedding of 2013 was certainly different. As a child, Laura’s favourite book was The Chronicals of Narnia,  The Lion The Witch & The Wardrobe in which 4 children enter the magical world of Narnia through a wardrobe.

Laura and her  Mum Gill spent the last 12 months making everything from hedgehog place settings to the snow covered foliage that  adorned the woodland reception.  The guests had no idea that they would have to enter the reception area through a wardrobe in which fur coats hung.  The room was a magical winter wonderland with a real owl greeting the guests. This really caused a stir and gave them all something to talk about while waiting for the bride to arrive.

The cake was amazing, a fairytale castle all white and glittery, just like everything else on the day. The weather held off which enabled us to get some fantastic shots around the lake area of  the hotel. We had planned to take Laura & Craig over to the beautiful Japanese gardens, however, through no fault of our own, the ceremony started 30 minutes late which left us short of time and light. But we managed to get some great shots inside the hotel

As expected Laura looked beautiful along with her three bridesmaids who wore sage green which was in keeping with the woodland theme.
