Anna and Paul Southport Wedding

We knew we were going to have a great day with Anna & Paul after spending time with them in August, for their pre wedding shoot. They are very much in love and at ease with the camera. This made our job so much easier on their wedding day.  Anna & Paul met while Anna was at work in Tesco’s and Paul was there doing his shopping, the rest is history.

The morning of the wedding, we met Paul and the boys before they left for the church. Paul looked very handsome in his dress uniform, he confessed that he couldn’t sit down so whe would have to stand to eat his meal ha ha!

It was so cold Paul needed a little tipple to keep him warm. That’s what he told me anyway!

Anna looked stunning and her Dad Andy, was very proud of his beautiful daughter.

There was a little delay to the start of the ceremony due to the bridesmaids having to swap cars because of a flat tyre. Paul waited patiently at the alter for his bride, all the while his grooms men were cracking the usual jokes about her being late.  Being an infantry man with the Duke Of Lancaster Regiment, Paul took this in his stride, confident that his bride would arrive soon.

Anna looked so happy when she arrived, not at all phased by her late arrival.

Her bridesmaids, page boy and flower girl had been waiting patiently inside the warmth of the church.  Once outside they soon started to shiver, Aaron had tucked his hands inside his jacket sleeves.

After the ceremony, we had to work really fast to get some shots as it was freezing.

The guests headed over to the warmth of the Floral Hall while we went with Anna & Paul to Hesketh Park. They wanted to have a few shots there before joining everyone for the reception.  Anna was so brave, she shivered and smiled at the same time.

Once over at the Floral Hall it was time for those embarrasing bestman’s speeches.  And in true form Paul’s brother Mike, set out to embarass him.

We stayed until the early evening and had a great time with their family and friends.  We got some great fun shots of the bridal party, family & friends and Pauls Grandad joined in the fun too.

And now for their first dance as husband and wife. Anna’s Dad and Paul’s Mum were asked to join them on the dance floor.
